The Knesset plenum passed in first reading the "citizenship bill", which allows the State to revoke the citizenship of individuals who were convicted of terror and espionage offences against Israel.
Twenty six members of Knesset voted in favor, while 12 MKs voted against the bill, which was drafted by MKs David Rotem and Robert Ilatov (Yisrael Beiteinu). (Roni Sofer)
