Yemeni army fires at student protesters
The Yemeni army stormed a university in the capital Tuesday, firing rubber bullets and tear gas at students who have joined the growing calls for the country's president to step down, the head of the student body said.
Ridwan al-Masoud, the student leader at Sanaa University, said protesters were injured but there was no official word on the casualties. Students have been sleeping on campus since mid-February, demanding the ouster of President Ali Abdullah Saleh. (AP)
