Official: Yaakov Amidror named new National Security Advisor
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu officially named Yaakov Amidror as the new National Security Advisor. Amidror will replace Uzi Arad, who announced his retirement on Sunday.
Shortly after the announcement Amidror told Ynet he is "deeply respectful of this position" and that he "hopes to serve the State of Israel properly." (Attila Somfalvi and Aviel Magnezi)
