Deputy foreign minister: Regional changes increase Gaza smuggling

Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon appealed to ambassadors from foreign countries in Israel and said that "the new regional powers must prevent arms smuggling to the Gaza strip."
Ayalon explained that Israel is aspiring to continue the alleviation measures for the Palestinians but regional changes have exacerbated the arms smuggling trade and "endanger citizens in the center and south of Israel." (Ronen Medzini)
