300 infiltrators enter Israel in first week of March
During the first week of March, 300 infiltrators crossed into Israel from the Egyptian border – a record number for 2011. The Population and Immigration Authority revealed adding that in the first two months of 2011, 1000 infiltrators entered Israel.
Population and Immigration Authority Director General Amnon Ben Ami made it clear that in 2011 "the authority would concentrate its efforts and use every tool within our power on enforcement and reducing the number of infiltrators in Israel. (Ynet)
