Army trying to locate soldier missing since Monday
Corporal Bogdan Shirokov was last seen boarding Tel Aviv bus to Beit Shemesh
Cleared for publication: The army is trying to track down a soldier who went AWOL last Monday, the day he last contacted his family.
The army said Friday that Corporal Bogdan Shirokov was last seen in uniform boarding bus 411 from Tel Aviv's central bus station to Beit Shemesh.
Israel Police, in cooperation with Military Police, have launched an investigation in a bid to locate the soldier.
Hundreds of officers, soldiers and volunteers are taking part in the search for the missing soldier near the Ben Shemen Forest.
The army has asked that people who have any relevant information call 100 or 03-5691000.
