Yesha Council head: Residents' security needs not addressed
Following the Friday terror attack in Itamar, Yesha Council Chairman Danny Dayan suggested that the Israeli Defense Forces did not provide sufficient protection to the settlement.
"The standby unit is responsible for protecting the settlement, although the IDF should and could assist with security," he said, adding that "some of the residents' security needs were not addressed, which could have possibly prevented the attack." (Yair Altman)
