Settlers clash with Palestinians in West Bank

Clashes broke out between settlers and Palestinians in the Beit Ummar Intersection in the Gush Etzion Region of the West Bank, in connection with the murder of five family members from Itamar. According to reports, dozens of settlers blocked the road and threw stones at Palestinians. Police and IDF arrived on the scene, and evidently arrested some settlers for questioning.

Palestinians in the area said that the settlers came from the Beit Ayin settlement, and that police threw tear gas grenades at them. (Yair Altman and Elior Levy)
