Cliff collapses near Palmachim Beach

A cliff at the central Israeli Palmachim Beach collapsed, apparently due to the strong rains that came down over the past weekend. Police and firefighting forces were called to the scene to estimate damages.

"These were rocks that weigh tons," an eye witness said. "The region is considered dangerous, and there were 'Caution' signs there. I don't know if the signs survived the winter, they always fell down." (Eli Senyor and Roi Mandel)
