Settler cleared of assault charges
Jerusalem's Magistrates Court acquitted Yifat Alkubii, a resident of Hebron who had been accused of assaulting a nine year old minor six years ago.
Judge Hagit Mack-Kalmanovitz determined that the complainant's testimony and that of his friends who were witnesses was filled with contradictions. She also criticized police proceedings. (Aviad Glickman)
