Obama thanks Danish PM for troops in Afghanistan
President Barack Obama thanks Danish Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen for the sacrifice of Denmark's military in Afghanistan. Both men also agree that Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi must step down.
Loekke Rasmussen met with Obama in the White House Monday to discuss Afghanistan, the Middle East and energy issues. Both men, seated in the Oval Office, expressed support for Japan in the wake of twin natural disasters that have left the country reeling. (AP)
