Defense Minister praised IDF for interception of arms ship

Defense Minister Ehud Barak praised Shayetet 13 combatants for intercepting the "Victoria" ship off the country's Mediterranean coast on Tuesday. He said, "IDF and navy combatants prevented the smuggling of means of warfare to the Gaza Strip, which were intended to harm Israeli citizens."
"The attempt to smuggle arms to the Gaza Strip teaches us that radical elements continue to try and harm Israel and shake the regional stability," added Barak. (Ynet)
