Barak: Weapon on board ship could have affected IDF

Defense Minister Ehud Barak says the cargo ship Victoria intercepted by the Israeli navy was carrying "the beginnings of an advanced system, which could have affected IDF activity along the Gaza Strip coast, if it would have reached there."

Barak added: "We don't know yet what part the Syrians and Hezbollah played in this, but we'll find out in the hours and days to come." (Raanan Ben-Zur)
