Peres congratulated new IDF chief: Bravo, very good start

President Shimon Peres congratulated new IDF Chief of the General Staff Major General Benny Gantz on the successful Victoria ship operation on Tuesday.

"It's an impressive political and security achievement," said Peres. "It proves to the world that there's a good reason why we search ships – we don't want to get hurt. Bravo to the new IDF chief. It's a very good start for him." (Attila Somfalvi)
