High Court rejects petition to revoke Danino's appointment

The High Court of Justice rejected a petition by the Movement for Quality Government to revoke the appointment of Commander Yohanan Danino as next chief of Israel Police.

The High Court justices ruled that until the State Comptroller finishes his inquiry into Danino's professional functioning there is no proof of any shortcomings regarding his conduct or appointment process, so they decided to reject the petition. (Aviad Glickman)
