Hamas military wing claims responsibility for mortar fire
The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military wing, claimed responsibility for the mortar shells fired at Israel, saying the attack was in response to IDF strikes in the past week.
Meanwhile, Palestinians reported that IDF helicopters bombed targets in Dir al-Balah and Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. (Elior Levy)
