5 Turkish officers jailed in killing of Christians

A Turkish court has ordered five active duty Turkish officers and two civilians jailed in a probe into the 2007 killing of three Christians, including a German national.

The officers were jailed Monday pending trial but it is not yet clear what charges they are facing. Five civilians were previously arrested and charged with murder of the Christians at a Bible-publishing house in the central Anatolian city of Malatya. (AP)
