Israeli doctors arrive in Japan; to assess medical needs

A rescue team of Israeli doctors sent by the Foreign Ministry and the IDF Home Front Command arrived at the Japanese city of Kurihara, where most of the Tsunami and earthquake evacuees have been transferred, in order to assess the medical needs in the area.

Officials estimate that an Israeli clinic will be set up within the coming week. The Foreign Ministry stressed that the crew members will not be exposed to any danger, due to the radiation in the area. (Ronen Medzini)
