Germany calls for oil, gas embargo against Libya

Germany is calling for the European Union to impose a full oil and gas embargo this week on Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's regime.

Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle said Tuesday that no one knows how long fighting in Libya will last and it is important to make sure Gaddafi can't get his hands on fresh money. (AP)
