Peres on Katav's statue: Must not change history

President Shimon Peres met with soldiers near the northern border and was asked whether he believes the statue of Israel's former president and convicted rapist, Moshe Katsav, should be removed from the President's Residence.

"You mustn't change history, for good or for bad. History is full of bad and good things," said Peres.
