Police Commissioner: Katsav affair a 'significant watershed' for Israel

Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen addressed the sentencing of former president Moshe Katsav: "As someone who is familiar with the affair, I can tell you the investigation was extremely sensitive and the police is prepared for future investigations resembling this one, as democratic state should be."
Cohen added: "The police conducted the investigation fearlessly and impartially while maintaining the victims' rights, the suspect's rights and the public's right to know. This affair as a significant watershed for the State of Israel." (Eli Senyor)
