Mortar shell barrage hits southern Israel

Five or six mortar shells and possibly a rocket Qassam as well were fired from the northern Gaza Strip to the Ashkelon Beach regional council.
All landed in open areas; no injuries or damages were reported. (Shmulik Hadad)
