Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch commented on the recent escalation in the south and said: "We cannot accept this escalation; you can't let citizens go through attrition.
"The response needs to be much more painful and severe as there is no justification for firing at civilians." The minister who visited Beersheba and toured rocket landing sites in the south also commented on the Jerusalem terror attack investigation but noted that there were no new developments.
