Peres to Gates: No choice but to defend ourselves

President Shimon Peres met with United States Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and addressed the firing towards southern Israel originating for Gaza.
"Israel has always been under fire, and it's the same today," said Peres. "Firing at us is pointless and tasteless and leads no where. We have no choice but to defend ourselves and so we shall." (Ronen Medzini)
