Obama condemns terror attacks against Israel

US president calls prime minister during latter's Moscow meeting with Vladimir Putin

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, currently visiting Moscow, met with his Russian Counterpart Vladimir Putin on Thursday. They two discussed the joint terror threat and Putin condemned attacks against Israeli citizens.

 

During the meeting, US President Barack Obama phoned Netanyahu and condemned the attacks against Israel. Netanyahu said there is widespread international support for the war on terror which strengthens Israel.

Netanyahu also met with Russian President Dmitri Medvedev and urged him to prevent the establishment of radical regimes which he said can threaten world peace and the wellbeing of both Israel and Russia.

 

The prime minister also thanked Medvedev for Russia's help during the Carmel fire disaster last December. Netanyahu said the Russian pilots showed bravery and professionalism and left an enormous mark.
