A 71-year-old Bahraini died from asphyxiation inside his home after police fired rounds of teargas into his village near the capital Manama on Friday, the country's leading Shiite opposition group Wefaq said.
Police have broken up small scattered protests in Manama using rounds of teargas in a planned "Day of Rage" that faded quickly due to a heavy security force presence. (Reuters)
