16 leftist activists arrested in protest near Havat Maon outpost

Sixteen left-wing activists belonging to the Sheikh Jarrah Solidarity Movement were arrested during a demonstration that was held Saturday morning close to the Havat Maon outpost. The IDF declared the region a closed military zone. Two of the protesters were arrested for allegedly attacking a police officer, while another was arrested on suspicion of making threats.
