Settler who kidnapped, abused Palestinian teen sentenced to 18 months in jail

The Jerusalem District Court sentenced Zvi Struck, a 28-year-old resident of the Shilo settlement who is accused of kidnapping and abusing a 15-year-old Palestinian boy, to 18 months in prison. Following the assault, which took place in 2007, the teen was found unconscious in an open field, naked and tied. He sufferend injuries on his entire body. 

Struck was also sentenced to one year on probation and was ordered to pay NIS 50,000 in compensation to the victim. (Aviad Glickman)
