Egypt to hold legislative election in September

Egypt will hold a legislative election in September, the ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces said on Monday.

Mamdouh Shaheen, a member of the military council, said in a news conference a date for a presidential election had yet to be set. (Reuters)
