April interest rate set at 3%

Governor of the Bank of Israel Stanley Fischer has set the principal interest rate for April at 3% – a 2.5% rise.

A Bank of Israel statement attributed the decision to the recent month's Consumer Price Index rise, various price hikes and the expansion of the market's performance. (Ynet)
