Tibi: Arab regimes blame their failures on Palestinians

MK Ahmad Tibi slammed Syrian presidential advisor Bouthaina Shaaban for saying that the Palestinians were the ones to ignite the unrest in Syria, the London-based newspaper Asharq Alawsat reported.

According to the report, Tibi wrote on his Facebook page that Shaaban's statements should be condemned, and called on Arab regimes to stop blaming their failures on the Palestinians. It was also noted in the report that Palestinian organizations that are based in Damascus, including Hamas and the Islamic Jihad, did not respond to Shaaban's accusations. (Roee Nahmias)
