State Comptroller: PM flights funding 'improper'

None

The State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss addressed reports claiming the prime minister and his wife's flights were funded by businessmen. He said: "It is fundamentally improper for public figures to travel at the expense of philanthropists and donors. This has been said a number of times in the past."

Lindenstrauss added that the main problem is that many of the people mentioned in the debriefing are not under his authority as comptroller. He mentioned that a special team is currently investigation the issue and is expected to discuss it with the attorney general in the following days. (Aviad Glickman)
