Dr. Doron Avital sworn in to replace MK Boim

Dr. Doron (Shalom) Avital of Kadima has been sworn into the Knesset to replace MK Ze'ev Boim, who passed away recently of cancer.
The 52-year old Avital, a lieutenant-colonel in reserves, led the elite Sayeret Matkal unit between the years 1992-1994. (Roni Sofer)
