Germany calls for political resolution in Libya

German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle says Libya's crisis cannot be resolved through military means and all sides must get to work on a political resolution.
Westerwelle said on a visit to China that a first step must be a cease-fire that is heeded by embattled Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi. (AP)
