Blast heard near Tzipi Livni's home; determined as firecracker
None
A blast was heard near the home of Opposition Chairman Tzipi Livni Friday – most likely from a firecracker. Livni was not at home at the time of the incident.
Livni's security detail alerted the police and bomb disposal teams who arrived at the scene found no evidence of an explosive device. The Shin Bet has a permanent security detail assigned to Livni's residence. (Eli Senyor)
