Jordanian police have moved in to separate hundreds of government supporters and pro-reform activists who were holding rival rallies outside the municipal offices in the capital Amman.
No injuries were immediately reported as the police intervened and separated the two groups. About 400 pro-reform Jordanians had turned out on Friday to demand more political say and that the prime minister to step down. A similar number of pro-government supporters held a rally on a grassy patch nearby. (AP)
