Hundreds protest razing of Arab homes in Jaffa
More than a thousand protesters – leftists and residents of Jaffa – demonstrated against the razing of Arab homes to build Jewish homes in the Jaffa neighborhood of Ajami. Protesters carried Palestinian flags and called out against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, "Netanyahu you're a traitor, and responsible for terror".
Sami Abu Shehadeh, of the Jaffa Popular Committee for the Defense of Land and Housing Rights, told Ynet that "the eviction of Arabs from Jaffa will not be passed over in silence". (Hassan Shaalan)
