UAE anti-terrorist unit takes ship from pirates

State-run media in the United Arab Emirates say an anti-terrorist unit has wrested control of a ship from pirates in the Arabian Sea.

The WAM news agency says the ship was seized Friday. The bulk carrier MV Arrilah-1 came under attack while en route from Australia to Dubai's Jebel Ali port. The agency said Saturday the UAE's military had regained control of the ship off the coast of Oman. (AP)
