Patrolman jailed for attacking Palestinian women

The Jerusalem District Court sentenced a patrolman with Rosh HaAyin Police to two years in prison Sunday, after finding him guilty of assault, extortion and falsifying documents.

The officer was accused of attacking his Palestinian girlfriend in an attempt to force her to marry him. The man was required to pay the women NIS 5,000 ($1,439). (Aviad Glickman)
