Police say a bomb blast at a bus station in northwest Pakistan has killed six people and wounded eight.
Police official Mohammad Gul says the remote-controlled device exploded Monday in the Jandool area of Lower Dir, a district near the Afghan border. No group immediately claimed responsibility. But Al Qaida, Taliban and other Islamist militant groups are active along Pakistan's regions bordering Afghanistan, and have carried out many bombings in the area. (AP)
