Romania: Burial ceremony for WWII mass grave remains

The remains of dozens of Jews killed during World War II and found in a mass grave in northern Romania will be buried Monday in a ceremony at the Jewish cemetery in Iasi the Wiesel Institute revealed.

 

"The burial of the remains of those exhumed from the mass grave in the village of Propricani will be held Monday at the Jewish cemetery of Iasi. There will be a religious ceremony in the presence of six rabbis, including four from England and the United States, "Alexandru Florian Director of the Wiesel Institute told AFP. (AFP)
