Carmel disaster: Cadets' families appeal to High Court over citations

The committee for family members of fallen prison service members from the Carmel disaster has launched an appeal with the High Court of Justice against Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch and Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen demanding that they prevent the citation presentation ceremony for police officers killed in the bus disaster during the Carmel fire.
In their appeal the families claimed that presenting the citations at this stage clears them of any blame in the incident before the state comptroller has even completed his inquiry into the issue. The families emphasized that they weren't acting out of envy. (Aviad Glickman)
