Egypt arrests former housing minister Soliman

Egyptian authorities arrested on Wednesday Ibrahim Soliman, who when housing minister was responsible for several controversial contracts with real estate developers, a security source said.
He is the second former housing minister to be arrested in connection with deals approved while in office.
The other, Ahmed el-Maghrabi, is facing trial for profiteering when concluding a sale contract for a plot of state land before the buyer had fully paid for it. (Reuters)
