1 killed, 8 wounded in suicide attack in Pakistan

A police official says a suicide car bomber has targeted the residence of a senior police officer in southwestern Pakistan, killing his guard and wounding eight other people.

Daud Junejo says the attacker first opened fire and then blew up his explosive-laden car outside the home of Deputy Inspector-General of police Wazir Khan Nasir in the city of Quetta. (AP)
