Hamas cell behind J'lem explosion?
Security forces arrest five residents of east Jerusalem suspected of planning terrorist activity. One man injured after pipe bomb left inside bushes exploded in March
The Shin Bet claims that Muhammad Dwiyat confessed to preparing a pipe bomb meant to detonate at a hitchhiker's station in Gilo which serves Gush Etzion and Mount Hebron residents. The Shin Bet said that Dwiyat eventually decided to throw the explosives insie a bush in the Hebron Road in Jerusalem.

The pipe bomb was found by a Jerusalem Municipality sanitation worker who was hit after the bomb exploded. One of his hands was partially amputated.
The Shin Bet claims that Dwiyat confessed to other attempts to manufacture explosives. One explosive charge he prepared last December was found by kids in his village and was dismantled by sappers.
The five, Muhammad Dwiyat, Jihad Atoun, Munir Marwan Atoun, Ahmed Nimar and Ahmed Dwiyat are accused of being members in a terrorist organization, contacting foreign agents, conspiring to assist the enemy and trying to manufacture weapons.
