Siren activated in cities throughout southern Israel
The anti-rocket siren has been activated throughout southern Israel, including in the cities of Ashdod, Beersheba, Ashkelon, Kiryat Gat, Kiryat Malachi, Gedera, Ofakim and Gan Yavne.
The siren was also heard in the Palmahim area near Rishon Lezion, south of Tel Aviv. No injuries have been reported at this time. (Ilana Curiel, Tova Dadon and Hanan Greenberg)
