Palestinian source: Israel, factions agree to ceasefire
A senior Palestinian source claimed Sunday morning the ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Palestinian factions has come into force. The agreement was reached with the help of an external mediator.
The source said Israel agreed to a ceasefire only if the Palestinian factions stop firing towards southern Israel. He added that some of the organizations have reservations about the agreement due to what they call "Israeli escalation". (Elior Levy)
