UN, French fire on Ivory Coast Gbagbo's residence
Residents say that United Nations and French helicopters have fired rockets on the residence of Ivorian strongman Laurent Gbagbo, who is holed up in a bunker.
Two residents from nearby neighborhoods reported seeing two Mi-24 attack helicopters and one French helicopter open fire on the residence Sunday. One resident reported seeing smoke rise from the compound. The residents couldn't be named for fear of reprisal. (AP)
