IDF judge advocate general testifies in front of Turkel committee
IDF Judge Advocate General Avichai Mandelblit testified for three hours in front of the Turkel committee, in charge of probing the Navy raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla last May.
Asked whether the inspection and investigation methods used in Israel are on par with those dictated by international law, Madnelblit replied: "It is important to notice how we preserve the rule of law on the one hand and maintain the army's capability to win on the other." (Omri Efraim)
