Report: Iranian forces thwart attempt on Ahmadinejad's life

The Iranian Intelligence Ministry arrested a man who declared through Internet correspondence that he intends to assassinate Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a newspaper in the Islamic republic reported.

According to the report, the suspect was planning to kill Amadinejad when the latter came to visit the former's central Iranian city. (Dudi Cohen)
